The Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) begins its work tomorrow for the last legislative year of the 27th term. It is expected that many legal regulations will be passed quickly in the TBMM, which will start working with the opening speech of President Erdogan. It is expected that the 7th Judicial Package will pass in a short time, with the repayments of Retirement Age Victims (EYT) and Credit and Dormitories Institution (KYK) student, especially the recruitment of contracted public personnel, which the citizens look forward to, especially before the elections. 
 
The Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) begins its work for the last legislative year of the 27th term tomorrow. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will make the opening speech in the special session of the General Assembly, which will convene under the chairmanship of the Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Mustafa Şentop shortly before the election. It is expected that the regulations for the election period will come to the agenda of the General Assembly as soon as the Parliament starts its work. 
 

FIRST AGENDA DISINFORMATION LAW 

 
Among the election promises of the government, Retirement Age Victims (EYT), students' loans to the Credit and Dormitories Institution (KYK) that is planned that the interest on the debts will be deleted and the legal regulations including the 7th judicial package will be passed by the Parliament. At the top of the agenda is the bill brought by the government on the grounds of ‘fighting disinformation’, the negotiations of which were postponed in the last legislative year. The ‘disinformation crime’ is defined for the first time with the bill submitted to the Parliament with the signatures of Justice and Development Party (AKP) and Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) and whose negotiations were interrupted. 
 

BUDGET WILL BE PRESENTED ON OCTOBER 17

 
After the opening of the parliament, the budget calendar will start to run. In this context, the 2023 budget will be submitted to the Presidency of the Assembly on October 17. The new budget is planned to be passed by the General Assembly of the Parliament until the New Year, following the discussions in the Parliamentary Plan and Budget Committee. One of the important regulations that is expected to come to the agenda of the parliament will be the legal infrastructure of the crypto money market. 
 

FIRST RECEPTION AFTER THE PANDEMIC 

 
Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Mustafa Şentop will host the traditional reception in the evening due to the start of the new legislative year. The reception could not be held for two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Group meetings of political parties will also be held on Tuesday, October 4th.
