Ali Yalçın, Chairman of the Memur-Sen Confederation, made statements on issues such as 3600 additional indicators and the recruitment of contracted employees. Yalçın stated that a new regulation should be made in 3600 additional indicators, while deficiencies should be regulated with a bag of laws.
“STEPS RELATED TO SITUATIONS THAT DISTURBED THE WORK PEACE SHOULD BE TAKEN”
Stating that many employees, especially chiefs and technicians working in the public sector, are waiting for regulation, Yalçın said, “We expect steps to be taken regarding the issues that cause the deterioration of labor peace, especially chiefs and technicians, in the 3600 additional indicator regulation. Our struggle regarding these issues continues uninterruptedly.”
“MAIN EMPLOYMENT IN THE PUBLIC SHOULD BE STAFF”
Stating that they submitted the necessary proposals regarding the transition of contracted personnel to cadre, which was decided by a collective agreement, to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, Yalçın said, “Our offer is clear; main form of employment in the public sector should be permanent, all of the existing 4/B contracted personnel, the personnel who passed from 4/C to 4/B taking into account their past service periods, and especially the contracted workers in municipalities should be recruited by taking into account their grievances.”
