It is essential to complete this punishment, not by staying in prison for a while, but through educational activities, cultural activities and rehabilitation work to be done there," he said.

ERSOY: "IT IS NECESSARY TO MAKE A NEW PROTOCOL"

Culture and Tourism Minister Ersoy stated that with the normalization process, more books will be needed, "Especially when we look at prison campuses in the form of a campus as detainees, convicts, prison staff and families staying in lodgings, we are talking about a medium-sized district. A new protocol was required to meet their needs. Both Libraries and Publications General Directorate and Prison General Directorates worked together and decided to establish libraries in prisons that we call campus type. Libraries were first established in Ankara-Sincan and Kayseri-Bünyan prisons," he said.
