Turkey was mobilized after the earthquake magnitude 6.8 occurred in Elazig. In Malatya, the bitter picture appeared by daylight. Rescue teams seeking answers to the screams of "Does anyone hear our voice?" Competed against time, surviving more than 40 people under the rubble. 29 people died. More than 400 aftershocks occurred.

Experienced in the past days in Elazig 6.8 magnitude earthquake in Elazığ and Malatya shook the whole Turkey. Turkey was deeply wounded. Citizens threw themselves to the street with fear and anxiety. The magnitude of the earthquake appeared by daylight. After the earthquake, aid convoys and search and rescue teams from many provinces were sent to the region. 29 people were killed under the wreckage, there are more than a thousand injured. More than 40 people were survived under the rubble.
 
A 6.8 magnitude earthquake occurred in the Sivrice district of Elazig. While the earthquake was felt in the surrounding provinces, 21 people died and there are more than a thousand injured. 
 
According to the data of the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), the earthquake in the district of Elazig, Sivrice, in the earthquake of 6.8 magnitude is 6.75 km. occurred in depth. Elazığ-Sivrice based earthquake was also felt in Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Malatya, Kahramanmaraş, Tunceli, Samsun, Tokat, Çorum, Sivas, Niğde, Kayseri, Kırşehir, Trabzon, Ordu and Giresun.
