Republican People’s Party (CHP) and Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) held weekly group meetings in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM). CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu came to power over the economy at the group meeting of his party. MHP Chairman Devlet Bahceli made harsh criticisms of the opposition parties.

KILIÇDAROĞLU REACTS TO RISE DEMAND OF ERDOGAN’S SALARY

Drawing attention to what happened after the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi in the Saudi Arabian consulate in Turkey, Kılıçdaroğlu reminded the Saudi Arabian Prince Selman's visit to Ankara today and made harsh criticisms. Criticizing the 40 percent increase in President Erdogan's salary, Kılıçdaroğlu said; “Erdogan seems devastated, he can't make a living, it seems like he wanted a 40,4 percent increase in his salary. Of course, I want to say that there has been such a raise in prices that I have been affected by the prices, and I need a raise in my salary. We will give to the minimum wage earner, but they say that I need to have a little bit, and they get a 40 percent raise. Erdogan plays the paid role."

BAHÇELİ: “POLICY OF DEVASTATING FAMILY LIFE”

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahceli responded to the opposition's claims for snap elections and said "the elections will be held in June 2023". Criticizing the series and movies on Netflix and this platform, Bahçeli added, “A planned propaganda is in place for the looting of family life. Family life is the last refuge. A planned propaganda is in place for the looting of this bunker. Where are we laughing at cursing? What part of the freak show scenes that commodify women and corrupt men can we appreciate? On the one hand, there are bohemian and despicable lives that are brought into our eyes by magazine programs, on the other hand, it is a contradiction and a low ploy for those who live these lives to pose as libertarian and humanist.” In addition, Bahçeli also harshly criticized Turkish Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (TÜSİAD) President Orhan Turan for his statements on foreign policy.
