Marmaris Municipality, which has completed all its preparations for both Marmaris residents and the citizens who come on holiday, to have a comfortable holiday in peace and security, will be on the alert during the Eid al-Adha.
With the opening of the summer season, the teams, which had busy days, started the preparations for the holiday days before.
The teams affiliated to the Science Works, Cleaning, Park and Gardens, Support Services carried out works such as cleaning, green area landscaping, tree pruning, repair of urban furniture and lighting poles, cleaning of streams and canals throughout the district.
In addition, with the beginning of the holiday intensity, the Constabulary Directorate accelerated its work.
PREPARATION ON THE BEACHES IS COMPLETED
In addition to the blue flagged Merkez and İçmeler public beaches, this year Burunucu Adventure Park has also received the Blue flag.
A comprehensive study was carried out at the Central Public Beach and other points, which host thousands of people, especially in the summer months due to its beach and walking path.
Disabled beach, lifeguard, toilets and showers were renewed on public beaches where free umbrellas were placed and buoys were drawn this year as well. The beaches have become the most popular places for those who want to enjoy the sea and the sun.
On the other hand, the beaches in Selimiye, Bozburun, Söğüt, Hisarönü, Orhaniye and Turgut neighborhoods were also prepared.
For a sparkling Marmaris, the lighting poles, which are under the responsibility of Marmaris Municipality, were also maintained.
In addition to street and street cleaning, work has been intensified at points such as viewing hills, bays, roadsides, streams and canals that are routinely cleaned.
Saying that more tourists are expected during the holiday in Marmaris, where the tourism season has also started, Mayor Oktay said, "Marmaris, one of the few tourism destinations in the world, is ready for the holiday...
