Martyr Prosecutor Kiraz commemorated in Caglayan

Public Prosecutor Mehmet Selim Kiraz, who was martyred by members of the terrorist organization DHKP-C in his office at the Istanbul Palace of Justice, was commemorated with mercy on the 7th anniversary of his murder.

Public Prosecutor Mehmet Selim Kiraz was martyred 7 years ago at the age of 46 by members of the terrorist organization DHKP-C in his room at the Istanbul Palace of Justice. 

Kiraz, who is married and has two children, was first taken hostage in the office of DHKP-C members Şafak Yayla and Bahtiyar Doğruyol on March 31, 2015, and then brutally murdered. 

A commemoration ceremony was held for Martyr Prosecutor Mehmet Selim Kiraz at the Istanbul Palace of Justice in Çağlayan, where he served.

After the speeches in the program, a wreath was laid in Kiraz's office. 

A commemoration program was held in the conference hall where the name of the martyred prosecutor was given, after the mawlid to be read in the courthouse mosque for the prosecutor, whose grave was also visited at noon.
