Making a call to the government after Israel's atrocities in Jenin Refugee Camp, Mavi Marmara Association said, “The efforts to get closer with this terrorist state are the biggest obstacle to Turkey's mission of 'Being an Ambassador for Peace and Ensuring Stability' in the Middle East. An economic and political boycott of Israel is now indispensable.”
The invading Israeli regime soldiers raided the Jenin Refugee Camp on Thursday, and a total of 9 Palestinians, including an elderly woman, were martyred. After the atrocities committed by Israel in Jenin Refugee Camp, Mavi Marmara Association made a statement. In the statement that reacted to the invading Israeli regime, the Turkish government was also called upon. In the statement in question, “We are calling out to all political parties, non-governmental organizations, societies, associations, foundations and our people in Turkey! Israel is a terrorist state. The efforts for rapprochement with this terrorist state is the biggest obstacle in front of Turkey's undertaking ‘Being Peace Ambassador and Stabilization’ mission in the Middle East. An economic and political boycott of Israel is now indispensable.”

In the statement made by the Mavi Marmara Association, it was also noted that Israel gained strength from the normalizations it had reached with Turkey and Arab countries. In the statement, which stated that Israel is fed by blood, tears and gunpowder, “Israel continues its oppression with the shield of political rapprochement with Turkey and other Arab countries, and has once again proven how unstable it is with its cries of joy while slaughtering Muslims. We learned this clearly in Davos, in the Mavi Marmara and in the whole process that followed. Israel stands against bureaucracy, politics, democracy, stability and peace. Israel, by its very nature, feeds on blood, tears and gunpowder. The raids on the Jenin and Shuafat camps are a crime against humanity. This crime should not go unpunished,” the statement added.
