IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, which organizes many actions, protests and events as well as many humanitarian aid efforts against the terrorist Israeli oppression in Gaza, organized an important march in Istanbul.

Tens of thousands of people gathered in Beyazıt Square as part of the march organized to commemorate the martyrs of the Mavi Marmara and to react to the genocide of the occupying Israel in Gaza, and walked through Ordu Street to the front of the Hagia Sophia Mosque.

The participants also carried banners commemorating the names of those who were martyred in the attack of the occupying Israel on the Mavi Marmara ship in international waters on May 31, 2010.

After the march, important statements were made about the brutality of occupying Israel in a program held in Hagia Sophia Mosque Square.

“YOU WILL SEE THE SAME PROBLEM AT YOUR OWN BORDERS”

Addressing the participants after the march, Mavi Marmara Freedom and Solidarity Association President Beheşti İsmail Songür stated that the states are responsible for the ceasefire in Gaza.

"Currently, 57 Islamic countries need to come together against whoever is in the region, such as America, England, Greece and Germany. If you cannot take a stand against Israel now, you will see the same problem on your own borders tomorrow. As you know, it has been determined that there are Turkish citizens fighting on the side of the occupying Israel in our country. I would like to say clearly from here that all Turkish citizens who went to Israel from Turkey and fought in Gaza should be identified as soon as possible, deprived of their citizenship and tried for crimes against humanity," Songür said.
