Arakan Muslims who escaped from the massacres and genocides in Myanmar and took refuge in Bangladesh continue to struggle for their lives under difficult conditions. The need for urgent humanitarian aid continues in the region, where hundreds of houses have been burned down after the fire disaster in the Arakan camps in Bangladesh in the past few days.
Cansuyu Aid and Solidarity Association also organized an aid organization to heal the wounds of the oppressed in the region. Cansuyu, who has been running to the aid of the oppressed Arakan people since the first day of the persecution, has now distributed medicines to the Arakan people who were affected by the fire but could not get medicine due to impossibility. Medicines distributed in camps in the Cox's Bazar region of Bangladesh will be a balm for the wounds of thousands of Arakan people.
HELPS WILL CONTINUE
Cansuyu Foreign Relations Coordinator Fırat Aydın said that the oppressed Arakan people are always on their side.
Fırat Aydın said following words:
"What happened in the camps in Cox's Bazar recently? After the fire, our brothers and sisters here suffered a great deal. There were many injured people in the area. As Cansuyu, we distributed medicines to thousands of our brothers in the camps in order to be a balm for the wounds of our brothers. For the last 5 years since the persecution began, we have been working hard to heal the wounds of our Arakan brothers. Until today, we have carried out aid activities in many areas, from health aids, hot food distribution, water well openings, to shelter aids such as large tent cities and bamboo houses. Hopefully, we will continue to help the region in the coming period."
