Modern times are dragging people towards a certain lifestyle. People no longer suffer from the technology that enters their homes, they suffer and complain about their interactions with the digital world that takes each individual into their orbit. The new habits brought on by this siege and the change in people's priorities also lead people towards a more material surface, and with this orientation, people find themselves in the lifestyle dictated to them without being aware of it. It is almost as if a person wants to insure himself against fate, but life is a flux and everything that comes is a test of man. One must face them.

On the whole, however, man becomes alienated from himself. By neglecting the historical experience and the inner dimensions of the human being, constructing a life only on the wreckage of the human being serves to open the doors of merciless times. They have many dimensions, each of which can be considered on its own. However, today I want to talk about children, youth and one of the greatest misfortunes of generations that have evolved from youth to maturity. Of course, that is also prayerlessness. This must be the biggest loss of today's people. One of the most important pillars that modern life draws from us and deprives us of is prayer. Today, because of habits that leave no occasion for children to receive prayers, a life is simply deprived of the prayers of parents or elders. The chaos experienced in the daily hustle and the family and the child lost in it play another role in experiencing this deficiency. As the occasions disappear, the number of people and generations in need of prayer increases.

Besides, now there are more angry and ambitious people instead of people with a prayer mouth. The logic that everything should have a visibility and response also feeds the feeling that there is no need for prayer. "Be holy like water", "be blessed", "may Allah give you whatever you wish", etc., which finds people in the simplest tasks of daily life. Prayers like this do not come easily to people.

Already, some of them seem to have lost their weight because they are the subject of abuse on the streets. What you see when you look at people who have lost their ability to pray and pray; is that everyone is rowing towards the flow of their own water. There are neither venerable moments to be cherished, nor the elders with a prayerful mouth, nor the little ones who need prayer. However, isn't prayer the key thing to get us out of the chaos of life? Isn't prayer the best action that can be done to guide each other for the better, to relieve the sadness of mistakes and turn to goodness? The verse, "What good are you if you don't have your prayers," tells us a lot.

Perhaps the first connection point that will take the person trapped in the material surface of this time towards his freedom is prayer. The way to overcome the widths and narrownesses in every moment of life and to be able to sit in the middle passes through here. "Prayer is the weapon of the believer," says our prophet Mohammad (pbuh). Prayer is a great weapon that we can equip against all kinds of calamities and deceptions of this time. Prayer will be our shield. It will strengthen our bond with Allah and reconcile with each other, starting with ourselves. He will add the faculty of altruism to our saddlebag. Prayer is getting closer to God. Because he says those who want to be close to me should pray and I will respond.

Prayer also has a calling function. It is a means of calling each other to goodness and beauty. It also provides resistance to the burdens of life. When we put all these side by side, it imposes a great duty on the people of this time to pray for all children, young people and each other. Against the human brokers who see themselves above everything by being arrogant, against all the diseases of the age that veil the truth, one can overcome it by covering oneself with a spiritual shield like prayer. In these blessed days of Ramadan, we can make our life, which we try to strengthen with fasting, become the organizer of our lives by clinging to prayer at this time. In this way, we will gain an important part that gives meaning to life. Being able to do this is in our own hands and we should not lose this opportunity. Shouldn't we be praying for these talkative times when all kinds of shame and all kinds of words are scattered?

Shouldn't we not pray as, "O Allah, cover our faults, make us sure from what we are afraid of, achieve us what we hope to and do not leave us to us! Do not deprive us of prayers to you!” (Amen)?
