"You cannot enter humanity unless Jerusalem is loved."

(Nuri Pakdil)

"Humanity cannot be defended without defending Jerusalem. At a time when Jerusalem is not free, one cannot speak of the freedom of the Islamic world. Islam is freedom, because the Muslim is the warrior of light who sends servitude to the dark corridors of ignorance. Conquest of hearts is possible by restoring human dignity," says the deceased Akif Emre. The image of Jerusalem drawn by beautiful people like him with the eyes of his heart is like a map of meaning. It is an issue where a person's humanity will be tested and a Muslim's level of consciousness can be seen. Therefore, Jerusalem is both a stance and a starting point.

Any harassment against Jerusalem is a move towards the arteries of the world. No matter how much they deny it and try to cover it up, it is a fact. Because Jerusalem is the only touchpoint where all people can really strike themselves in such a time and space plan. It is not just a matter of Muslims struggling to live there. It is a mirror that shows where all people really fall within the right, law and fairness. In this respect, this exam paper falls before us at least once every Ramadan. Here we are in a new test. Shall we hug the lullabies blown by the real politics into our ears and fall asleep, or will we get rid of these deep sleeps and put on our humanity?

We have to show in which direction we will make a choice, because the Jerusalem issue is a symbol of the accumulation of all humanity and at the same time it is a sign of the connection of all ideals with reality. It is a matter of honor, dignity, especially for those who call themselves Muslims. What other case can a person take than this? It is not only a resistance and struggle of those who suffered from oppression and injustice there, but also a matter of saving the dignity of humanity as a resistance, a symbol of the removal of all oppressed people and all sighs. Jerusalem consciousness is an indispensable criterion for a Muslim. Because, someone who does not have a Jerusalem consciousness has nothing to say about the world, and it is not possible for him to have a perspective about the world.

Jerusalem is the most important stop where all progressive discourses and all freedom discourses of the modern age are tested. Other defenses are of no value if one is left blind, deaf and dumb in Jerusalem. Therefore, no defense of rights can be considered independent of the Jerusalem defense. The establishment of justice, peace and tranquility, everyone's well-being and happiness pass through this critical defense. If the world will sit on a new axis, this axis is of course ancient Jerusalem. For him, everything consists of Jerusalem today. It is a divine musth. What this musth is like is most resonated in the souls and worlds of consciousness of poets.

How do they make sense of this meaning? Let's have a look. For example, like the lines of Sezai Karakoç, the night collapses into us: "And the city of Jerusalem. The city that was built in the sky and lowered to the ground. / The city of God and the city of all mankind. / The city that hides a crater underneath. / It crashes into my heart like a weight now."

And the lines of the late Akif Inan: "I saw the Masjid al-Aqsa in my dream, It was saying bring my greetings to a Muslim. / I cannot stand this separation, / Let Islam embrace me, it was calling."

What good is it if there is no resistance without all these pains, woe! There is no other choice but to break free from all fanaticism, break this racist Zionist circle and give Jerusalem its freedom. If Jerusalem is free, we are free. Take care of yourselves...
