The late Mehmet Niyazı Kasapoğlu Hodja, who devoted his life to Islam and the service of the Qur'an, was not forgotten in the first year of his death. The late Mehmet Niyazi Kasapoğlu Hodja, who was commemorated with the program held in Samsun Terme, was remembered with mercy and gratitude. The "Mehmet Niyazi Kasapoğlu Commemoration and Understanding Program" organized by Yavuz Selim Foundation and Anatolian Youth Association (AGD) Terme Branch was held with intense participation despite the adverse weather conditions. The documents of 39 memorization students who have completed their memorization are given by theologian Dr. İhsan Şenocak, Terme Mayor Ali Kılıç, AGD Terme District President Savaş Kengil and Yavuz Selim Foundation President Arif Ok.
"A LIFE DEVOTED TO THE QUR'AN"
Speaking in the conference part of the program, theologian Dr. İhsan Şenocak said, “He was a scholar of the climate of meaning, who lived a life devoted to the Qur'an. Scholars honor the world we live in, the world is blessed with dignity by them. Therefore, be with the faithful. These hafiz children, these students will not make our teacher Niyazi Hodja who made great service to the Qur'an, be forgetten. Besides Hodja Efendi's service to the Qur'an, he would act as an arbitrator according to the provisions of the Qur'an. Because of his trust and knowledge, you would see him as a referee and ask him about your problems. Niyazi Hodja worked as a hafiz in difficult times, gave education in difficult times, did not bow before the oppressor, paid the price, and went to the last judgement with these prices.”
