In the statement, "Memur-Sen, with a past of more than a quarter century, is the name of the will that belittles the virtue of being human, ignores the national will, condemns the freedom of education, belief and work to turnstiles, and becomes steeled against those who exploit labor," it was stated.
Memur-Sen, who has made significant gains as the authorized union of civil servants for many years, turned 28 years old.
Memur-Sen, who will continue to defend the rights of civil servants as the authorized union in the new period, will continue to fight in her new age.
The Confederation of Civil Servants Unions, with its 11 unions under the umbrella of Memur-Sen and over one million members, said in a statement.
"The Memur-Sen Confederation, which was founded by Mehmet Akif Inan and his companions to defend the value of the right, sweat and labor and to carry it to the point it deserves, turned 28 years old in its journey that spanned a quarter of a century and a half-century. Memur-Sen, brought to the union life by Mehmet Akif İnan and his companions in order to add value to people, at a time when values and sacred values were abused and despised, became the loud voice of millions in this blessed journey that started with unity," the statement added.
