The Good (IYI) Party held its weekly group meeting in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM). IYI Party Chairwoman Meral Akşener criticizes the government harshly and blamed it on the economy. She harshly criticized President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Minister of Treasury and Finance Nureddin Nebati and said, “The economic crisis is getting deeper day by day. There is only one issue everywhere, the cost of living.”
CALL FOR SPECIAL SESSION ON THE REFUGEE
Akşener stated that the government should take action on Syrian refugees as soon as possible and added, “Today, it is time to amend the Immigration and Protection Law, which determines temporary protection status and migration movement. It is our duty to resolve such an issue that our nation expects an urgent solution to. This is a non-partisan issue. Let's put forward our view of the issue and our solution proposals in a special session.”
AKŞENER: “KEEP YOUR STALE ADVICES TO YOURSELF”
Criticizing President Erdogan's ‘thank god’ advice Akşener said: “These people do not know how to be thankful. Mr. crisis and his partisans white spoon, our nation was guilty again. Now he has added unthank to his repertoire, which he insulted the nation. I call out to Mr. Erdogan; Are you taking refuge in gratitude now? Are you trying to intervene between Almighty Allah and his servant? Our nation knows how to be grateful. You forgot because palace life spoiled you. Keep your stale advices to yourself.”
