After the meeting, which lasted about 1 hour, Akşener and İmamoğlu went in front of the cameras.
Akşener was asked by the journalists, “What is the reason for your visit?” To the question, she said, “We talked to the Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality on various occasions. But it's my first time visiting his office. I had not visited until now. We visited and drank his coffee in his office. We especially drank coffee, we said, 'Because a coffee has a memory of 40 years'. We repeated our best wishes to him. And I know that; Mansions are going, this is happening, that is happening… We also received information on such issues. We both got information about the studies and there are many compulsions against him, there are difficulties. There are difficulties in Istanbul at the expense of preventing the services to be made. We talked about them. We are informed. Thank you again.”
After the signing, İmamoğlu presented a selection of books from IMM Publishing to Akşener and said, “We have many books, but we put the Bosphorus mansions first. They are trying to take mansions from us one by one.”
Akşener's response to İmamoğlu's words was, “There is a message here: Bosphorus mansions. We got it, we saw it, we thank you very much.”
İmamoğlu replied to Akşener by saying, "We will protect it together, sir, with your contributions."
