Kavlak noted that if the problem is not resolved at the table, metal workers will go to the squares.
Pevrul Kavlak, Chairman of the Turkish Metal Union, addressed MESS at the Ordinary General Assembly of the Bursa Branch No. 3 of their union.
Kavlak stated that the metal workers will not give up the struggle until their sweat is paid off.
Kavlak reiterated his call for the concluding MESS Group Collective Business Negotiations.
"Let's get the job done this time. If necessary, let's not get up from that table for days. Let's make 130 thousand metal workers happy. Let's not get up from that table again. Because if we ever get up from that table again, this time we will gather those hundreds of thousands in Bursa. If that is not enough, we will gather in İzmir. We will raise the whole of Turkey to its feet. We narrow those squares," he said.
“WE WILL TAKE OUR RIGHTS”
Reminding that they did not accept the 21 percent offer presented to them in the meeting held the previous day, Kavlak said, "We come a long way together. This path is not limited to this contract only. Remember the 2017 contract, the 2019 contract. Think of the days when our strike was postponed. Did we stop? We didn't stop. Are we tired? We did not give up. Are we scared? We were not afraid. How we won in those difficult days, don't worry, we will win again. In those difficult days, we will get it again, just as we got it. You have done your part. Now it's our turn, we won't leave a single penny on that table."
