Mehmed Şevket Eygi, the columnist of Milli Gazete, was discharged from the hospital where he was being treated for a while.
Eygi, who was taken to hospital again yesterday, was unable to respond to treatment and had the mercy of Allah.
According to information given by Atilla Şentürk milligazete.com.tr, one of Eygi's relatives; Mehmed Şevket Eygi died at 22.32 hours.

Mehmet Şevket Eygi died at the age of 86, reports said Friday.
Born in northwestern Zonguldak province, Eygi went to Galatasaray High School in Istanbul and received in undergraduate degree from Ankara University's Faculty of Political Sciences.
His works were published in numerous newspapers and magazines and he had been writing columns for Milli Gazete daily.
Felicity (Saadet) Party General Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu published a condolences message on his Twitter account about Eygi's death, referring to him as an important thinker and intellectual.
Eygi's funeral ceremony held at Fatih Mosque on Saturday.
