The government changed the Minister of National Education 7 times in 20 years. However, even though the ministers changed, the problems left by the former ministers were always transferred to the next minister. When the new Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer announced that the mixed assignment system, which has caused many grievances since its implementation in 2018, will continue for an additional 15 thousand appointments, there was a reaction from the teachers. Even though the minister is new, the appointment system that causes grievances is old.
After the arrangement made in 2018, the mixed assignment was first made with the 2017 Public Personnel Selection Exam (KPSS) score and the appointment of 20 thousand contracted teachers made with the 2018 KPSS scores. After the announcement that 15 thousand additional appointments, which were announced recently, will be made in the form of mixed assignments with 2020-2021 KPSS scores, the teachers reacted to the fact that the mixed assignment, which caused grievances in the past, will also be applied in the new ministerial term.
15,000 ADDITIONAL APPOINTMENT SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED
The calendar regarding the appointment of 15 thousand contracted teachers, which was announced to be made, was published recently. According to the calendar in which 15 thousand teacher candidates who took the 2020-2021 KPSS exam and the results of which were announced, will be appointed, the pre-application and oral exam center preferences will be taken between September 27 and October 8, 2021 to determine the teachers who will be appointed to the staff of the Ministry of National Education. The results of the appointment will be announced on January 31, 2022.
DUE TO MIXED APPOINTMENT, APPLICANTS WITH 2020 KPSS POINTS WILL BE VICTIM
Teachers, who have been struggling for an additional assignment for months, want 15 thousand teacher appointments to be made according to the KPSS 2020 score. In 20 thousand assignments made on September 3, the purchase was made with the 2020 KPSS score. As a result of this, it was announced that the scores of the branches will be determined according to the 2020-2021 KPSS results with the publication of the 15 thousand appointment calendar. With the 2020 KPSS score, the 2021 KPSS score results will constitute the majority of the appointments, rather than the teachers who could not be appointed in 20 thousand assignments.
