While official statements on "normalization" came one after another, the last statement came from Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu. Çavuşoğlu made statements at the foreign policy evaluation meeting on 2021 held at the Ministry.
Answering journalists' questions, Çavuşoğlu also spoke with the occupying Israeli regime on the issue of "normalization".
Stating that they have taken normalization steps on many problematic issues this year, Minister Çavuşoğlu said, "You know our contacts in UAE, Egypt, Bahrain and Israel. We will consider these processes with a realistic approach."
PRESIDENT ERDOĞAN ALSO ANNOUNCED
In addition to Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had recently made a statement regarding the issue of "normalization" with the Israeli regime.
After his visit to Turkmenistan, Erdogan, who made evaluations on the agenda on the plane, journalist asked questions as "The relationship that started with the United Arab Emirates inevitably brought relations with Israel and Egypt to mind. How do you view these relationships? Will you appoint ambassadors to Israel and Egypt?".
Noting that they will appoint an ambassador to the Israeli regime and Egypt, Erdoğan emphasized that they will take the same steps as the United Arab Emirates.
In his statement on the subject, Erdogan used following statements:
"Now, when we have already made our decision, we will of course be in a position to appoint ambassadors within a certain calendar. In some of the countries you mentioned, there are some steps taken as charge d'affaires. There is no ambassador, but there is a charge d'affaires. We will have taken these steps gradually within a certain calendar. Just as a step was taken between us and the United Arab Emirates, we will take similar steps with others."
A PLANE CARRYING MOSSAD OFFICIALS ARRIVED IN TURKEY
While statements about the "normalization" process between Turkey and the occupying Israeli regime came one after another, a remarkable development took place yesterday.
According to the information obtained by the Milli Gazete, a private plane carrying MOSSAD officials from the lands under Israeli occupation has landed in Turkey.
While the situation in question is the second visit since October 2021, it is thought that the reason for the visit is the "normalization" talks.
