The government, which received a great reaction from the citizens after the announcement of the extreme MTV hike, has kept its silence until today. However, the public's questioning of a 36,2 percent hike in MTV at a time when official inflation was 21 percent pushed President Erdogan to use his authority. President Erdoğan is expected to reduce MTV hike to 21 percent in order to make people believe that inflation is 21 percent.
