Martyr District Governor Prof. Dr. Muhammed Fatih Safitürk, who was appointed to the Derik District Governorship of Mardin in 2015 and was also appointed as the Deputy Mayor of Derik by the Ministry of Interior, was commemorated with prayers.
A commemoration program was held in Aydın Ayaydın Derik Teachers' House for Safitürk, who was seriously injured in the terrorist attack organized by the detonation of the hand-made explosive placed in his office on November 10, 2016 and fell a martyr in the hospital where he was taken.
In the commemoration program, photographs of martyr District Governor Muhammed Fatih Safitürk were exhibited in the entrance hall of the teacher's house.
The program, which started with a moment of silence and the National Anthem, continued with Quran recitation and prayers.
In the program, a cine-vision show about the life and works of the martyr District Governor Muhammed Fatih Safitürk was made.
In the hall where emotional moments were experienced, some viewers could not control their tears.
