The discourse power of National Vision
While talking about the codes of social movements for the last two weeks, we tried to mention the possibilities and weaknesses of all social movements in general in the first week. Last week, we tried to get more specific and talk about the direction of the movements that put Islam at the center of their conceptions of society. This week, it would be useful to go a little more privately and discuss what kind of a word National Vision movement should say in order to bring its ideals to life.
While explaining the main purpose of the social movements in question, we stated that it is to make the world, which is the testing ground, livable. In other words, it is to mature all the conditions for the exam. Therefore, the main purpose is to prevent evil and make goodness prevail. For the realization of this aim, society becomes the subject of the social movement with all its aspects. It should not be forgotten that the National Vision movement set out with the claim of rebuilding social life. At the center of this process, as everyone will admit, is politics. Because politics is the executive power of social life, it is the decision and implementation authority. If you have an ideal of envisioning society, you have to accept that it is only possible with politics.
It is reasonable to start the road to this ideal of National Vision, which set out with the claim of establishing a just world, from the geography where it is located. That is why there is a promise of a livable country in the first stage. Because it is against the nature of the business for a movement that has not been able to establish justice in the lands it lives in, or at least has not been able to fight for it, to speak out on a global scale. For this reason, politics should be produced in a way to encompass all humanity by expanding in circles. For this, the National Vision movement should be able to speak and express itself to all segments of the society by keeping its concept map wide.
In fact, what we want to say here is to carry the accumulation of the past to the future with today's saddlebag, without sneering at the spirit of the time. It is unthinkable that the expression style, communication method and words used are the same at all times. We can determine our power of expression according to the perception of time, the level of consciousness and the way of communication. For this reason, every National Vision followers has to carry the language it uses beyond the boundaries of its own belonging. It would not be correct to perceive the anxiety here as quantitative. Because the main purpose is to convey the defended claim and the targeted ideals by spreading them to the social base. We are not talking about saying what people want to hear, we are talking about conveying what we want to say to people in a language and style that they can digest.
As we know, the most important feature of today's politics is the determining power of the majority. Therefore, it is important to persuade the interlocutors to benefit from this power. The process of persuading the public is determined by the consistency of the contact established with the public. The way to achieve this consistency is to use the language correctly. As long as the language is used correctly and on a solid ground, National Vision will have a high chance of coinciding its own truths with the preferences of the people.
The skin, emotional and intellectual colors of the people living in a geography may be different, but the common desire of each person is to be happy, safe and prosperous in the geography they live in. National Vision, which has a promise to this society in general and to the whole world in particular, needs to produce politics to meet these common demands. This may be a system proposal in the long term, or it may be actions that can be an ointment to the wounds in the short term.
