The Conceptual Power of National Vision (Milli Görüş) Movement
 
For the past few weeks, we have been trying to touch on the way social movements should follow to achieve their goals. Last week, we also touched upon the discourse power of the National Vision movement and stated that a language that can persuade the interlocutors should be built so that principles and expectations converge. Let's try to explain the subject, which we have tried to explain abstractly until now, through concrete concepts this week.
 
While the connection of the National Vision movement with the basic principles of Islam is known to everyone, it is also the desire of the volunteers. Then, National Vision needs to convey the basic principles that Islam offers to humanity materially and spiritually to all layers of society with the right content. In order to achieve this, it is important to set out by putting these principles at the center. The most basic principle of Islam is to give assurance on five issues in order to beautify the test field of man. These five basic guarantees that Islam gives to all humanity are to protect religion, life, property, intelligence and progeny. National Vision can also provide its conceptual power by contenting these concepts according to today's consciousness and communication level.
 
The protection of religion should mean the freedom to believe and live. To be protected; It is not the basic patterns of a belief, but the removal of obstacles to believing with free will. Each belief system can preserve itself by determining the direction of renewal and change with its internal dynamics. The important thing here is the independence of the belief system against those who impose their own views on all believers from the inside, with the interventions seen as pressure, intimidation and distortion from the outside.
 
As everyone knows, the protection of life means the protection of the most basic human right, the right to life. This is not only an approach that explains survival, but it should also show a medium that will ensure humane living. From this point of view, the understanding of management needs to be expressed through a system that puts people in the center. Many human needs, such as the rule of law, the spread of welfare, the transition from the grace state to the waiter state, and the availability of quality education, are the results of this assurance.
 
The protection of property means the protection of private property at the first stage. However, when we evaluate it from a wider perspective, we can include the prevention of capital transfer from the imbalance of blessings and burdens here. It is a fact that we are trying to express Islam's mission of protecting property with a fair economic order. By updating this, the protection of labor against rent, capital and market conditions, bringing income injustice to the agenda, pressure of global capital on domestic production, tax burden, hunger, misery and economic crises can also be expressed with this conceptual content.
 
What is meant by the protection of the mind is to preserve the ability of a person to think freely. Today, there is such a great effort on the direction of perceptions that; We constantly witness how right and wrong, good and bad are reversed. This situation prevents people from using their mental faculties correctly. The most basic distinction that makes a human human is his ability to reason. Trying to rasp this ability in different ways is an attack on the purpose of human existence. Therefore, just as religion talks about protecting the mind, the political movement can talk about freedom of thought and scientific developments that will open the way for reasoning.
 
Finally, what is meant by the preservation of the generation is the preservation of the institution of the family. In addition, we can include the creation of a social structure that will protect the dignity of men or women as individuals. One of the biggest problems of today is the problems faced by women in social life. It is important for the protection of the generation to seek solutions both in terms of violence and participation in social life. Otherwise, the reactive movements caused by these troubles can harm both the family and the role of men and women in social life. Therefore, discourses such as women's rights and equality between women and men should be evaluated from this point of view and content.
 
In addition, we can consider the fight against environmental problems in the context of the protection of the generation. Turning forests into profit, plundering agricultural lands, concretization and the existence of all environmental problems are important issues that threaten the continuation of the generation. When we look at it from here, we can see that producing policies towards nature and animals is actually a requirement of our basic principles.
 
We have the chance to present the conceptual basis of National Vision with a content oriented to today's consciousness and communication language, starting from the basic principles of Islam. All kinds of politics produced in this way will contribute greatly to both the movement's preservation of its principles and the reaching of these principles to the social base.
