We can say that at the root of the debates in recent days are the efforts to put the understanding of nationalist politics ahead of reasonable politics. The greatest power of nationalist politics comes from emotions. The mobilization and manipulation of emotions is indispensable for nationalist politics. We can attribute the rise of the far right in Europe to the reduction of reactions to current problems to emotions. Emotional tension arising from xenophobia and emotional motivation over national identity determine the direction of politics. In many countries in Europe, we can see that the far right is on the rise with the rhetoric it has developed for emotions.

We can also evaluate the debates in our country from this perspective. It is not normal for the debates to be based on the concepts of refugees/immigrants/asylum-seekers these days when we are going through an intense economic crisis. We can see the presence of efforts to take a political position here. We can easily see that those who are trying to snatch or close the political vacuum created by the recent crises are clinging to these debates. We can attribute the increase in nationalist discourses by generating tensions to these political efforts.

This situation stands out as a work aimed at blocking the understanding of politics that tries to reach the public through reasonable politics. Reasonable way of doing politics is not wanted by someone to settle in the people's idea of politics. Because reasonable politics has the potential to bring with it a strong promise for the future of our country. The development of a reasonable understanding of politics is not desired both for the imperialist powers that feed on the chaos of the country, and for those who use or desire to use the power of power for their own benefit.

We can say that the outcome of the immigration-centered debates fed by nationalist discourses for the government is to move away from the real agenda. It is certain that a new polarization over refugees/immigrants/asylum-seekers is pleasing for the government in an environment where the people are economically overwhelmed by the impact of the current crisis and this situation will reflect negatively against the government politically. Therefore, there is an appearance of consenting to the increase of these discussions and the emergence of polarization from here. However, he calculates that the effect of the crisis experienced in this way on politics may decrease.

New formations or new names aim to open up space for themselves in times of crisis, where the stones are not yet settled in politics. For this, they want to be visible, to enter the public's agenda and to direct the trust towards themselves. Reasonable politics can achieve this, but it is very difficult. It is important to choose this path for those who want to make a responsible policy for the future of the country. On the other hand, it is quite easy but dangerous for the understanding of politics that generates animosity to reach the public. Therefore, it is a preferred method to present politics to the public by mixing it with emotions. A political understanding that generates enmity instead of producing politics, sets targets instead of presenting projects, stirs emotions instead of competing ideas, brings danger for our future.

The only thing that those who want to plunder the blessings of this country, both inside and outside, want chaos. But this geography no longer has the strength to handle more conflicts and quarrels. The common goal of the people living in these lands is to live in a peaceful, prosperous, safe and just way. Only a reasonable understanding of politics to which all segments will apply can achieve this.
