In our country, the electoral journey has started again. In order to analyze this journey well, it is necessary to know the necessities of the system and the malfunctions arising from the system.

If we do not understand them well, we can neither understand the whole concept of alliance, which is central in the elections, nor the calculations of the parts that make up the alliance.

In the parliamentary system, elections determined the legislature, and the executive was determined from the distribution of the parties forming the legislature. The executive needed a numerical majority in order to get a vote of confidence, that is, the license to be in power without the legislature.

Either one of the parties gained power or several parties formed a coalition and provided this majority.

This electoral system, on the other hand, is a system in which the executive and the legislature are elected independently. Both the legislature and the executive get their approval directly from the people.

Although there is no difference in terms of being elected for the legislature, the determination of the executive by the people has led to a new system and new understanding.

In this system, while the executive is elected by the people, at the same time, 50+1 votes are needed for the executive to be elected. In fact, the parties make their electoral fiction according to this feature of the system.

It is very difficult for a candidate to obtain a majority in an environment where the political spectrum is dispersed and they are divided into different parties. In order to achieve this, either the candidate must have a leadership capacity to influence the masses or a candidate must have been agreed between the parties before the election.

In the upcoming elections, the candidate supported by a party has no chance of winning. Therefore, it is reasonable for the parties to agree on the candidates and issue a common candidate. By nominating a joint candidate, the way of the system is not cleared.

The most important thing is what kind of roadmap the selected candidate will follow after he is elected. Because the power to form, direct and direct the entire executive is in the hands of the only elected candidate. It is a mystery in this mediocre that a candidate supported by different parties will act according to which party's program.

In order for this mystery to be clear, the alliance model must be established on the right ground. It is important that the parties participating in the alliance draw a roadmap on the principles and that the candidate to be determined will undertake to implement this roadmap.

We said that it is a natural consequence of the system that the parties hold elections in alliance. Therefore, no party can be blamed for being in an alliance.

The important thing is that the purpose of being in the alliance is not independent of the moral principles of politics. In other words, it cannot be said that a party that does not include any of its party's principles on the agenda of the alliance and only supports the common candidate in order to ensure its presence in the legislature acts in accordance with the purpose of the pre-election alliance model.

At least, a political party that is included in the alliance should be able to establish a linear proportion between its numerical equivalent in politics and the principles of its party.

While the current system aims to exclude political parties with low votes from the executive for the sake of stability, it also reveals the chance of getting involved in the executive due to the necessity of the alliance.

Although the current system accepts the lack of control as stability, it is possible to alleviate this lack of control thanks to the necessary alliances.
