Saadet Party Konya Deputy and Head of Youth Branch Abdulkadir Karaduman evaluated the meeting of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan with Egyptian President Sisi after a 9-year hiatus at the General Assembly of the Parliament.
“WE ALL CONDEMNED THE OPPRESSIONS”
Reminding that hundreds of people were killed in Rabiatul Adeviyya Square as a result of the treacherous coup in Egypt, Karaduman said, “Elected President Mohammed Morsi and hundreds of Muslims were martyred in the dungeons. Of course, in those days, we all condemned these massacres and atrocities and shouted that we are together with the oppressed in Egypt.
A STANCE AWAY FROM CONSCIOUSNESS
Karaduman, reminding the sad picture in Egypt, noted the following; “While the bullets of the cruel Sisi, the leading actor of the treacherous coup, martyred 17-year-old Esma Biltaci in that square, the farewell letter written by her father to her daughter broke our hearts, it was like a dagger stuck in our chest. That day, Erdogan was also shedding tears while that letter was read. But today we witness that he shook the hand of Esma's cruel murderer Sisi with great enthusiasm. I would like to remind you that this impersonal stance has no place in conscience. The dignity of Muslims cannot be sacrificed to real politics,” he added.
