The persecution of Muslims by the racist organization "Hindutva" gangs and India's paramilitary forces is increasing day by day in the states of Assam and Tripura, where the Muslim population is concentrated in northeast India. In the region where the Muslim population is being wiped out, Indian army forces and Hindu gangs are forcibly evicting Muslims from their homes, plundering mosques and looting shops. At least 16 mosques and several houses and shops belonging to Muslims were looted and destroyed by the Hindu nationalist Hindutva gang in the state of Tripura last week.
 

MOSQUES ARE BURNING, STORES DESTROYED

 
Muslims in Tripura have been subjected to various attacks by racist gangs in the past week. Muslim Hindu activists said 16 mosques were destroyed in the Indian state of Tripura last week and three were set on fire by racist Hindutva gangs. According to information from the region, there are at least 27 confirmed cases of violence by Hindutva gangs attacking mosques, houses and people in areas with a large Muslim population. In the attacks in which 16 mosques were destroyed in total, at least three mosques were set on fire by Hindu gangs. There are also reports that Muslim homes were pelted with stones and that the homes of prominent Muslims were targeted and destroyed. Almost all of these attacks were carried out by Hindutva gangs and racist organizations protected by the Indian regime.
 

HARASSMENT, VIOLENCE AND OPPRESSION IN TRIPURA

 
According to the information from the Indian state of Tripura, it was reported that the anti-Muslim violence started by racist Hindu gangs continued to increase. Violence in the region escalated further when the Indian right-wing organization "Vishva Hindu Parishad" organized a large rally. There are also reports of Hindu gangs breaking into Muslim homes and harassing women. According to local media, it was learned that there was great damage to shops and houses belonging to Muslims.

There are many videos on social media of mosques being burned in villages in Tripura. Indian Muslim activists managed to become a hot topic on Twitter by using the hashtag #SaveTripuraMuslims to announce the dangerous situation in Tripura state to the world.
 
While Malik Moatasim Khan, Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami of India, urged the Modi government to bring the situation under control and stop the destruction of mosques and other properties, "For peace to come to the country, the safety of Muslims must be ensured, and those responsible for violence and terrorism must be punished," he said.
 
In addition to this, Asaduddin Owaisi, the leader of the "The All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen" (AIMIM) in India, also tweeted about the violence.
 
"We condemn the continued violence against Muslims in the state of Tripura, the Modi government must take immediate action," he tweeted.
