The Extended Provincial Council Meeting of the Saadet Party Edirne Provincial Presidency was held. At the council meeting, which was held with the intense participation of Saadet Party General Administrative Board (GİK) Member and Saadet Party Edirne Provincial Officer Mustafa İriş, Saadet Party Edirne Provincial President Atty. Sinan Tekin and the Saadet Party Edirne provincial and district organizations, as well as citizens, the message that Milli Gorus is Turkey's guarantee was given. At the meeting where the commission reports of the Saadet Party Edirne Provincial Presidency were evaluated, Mustafa İriş and Sinan Tekin addressed the participants and made statements regarding the political agenda of Turkey.
Addressing the participants at the Council meeting, Saadet Party GİK Member and Saadet Party Edirne Provincial Officer Mustafa İriş stated that Turkey has serious problems in education and said, “The weakest belly and the most unsuccessful area of the 20-year Justice and Development Party (AKP) government is education. In our country, the education system applied from the past to the present; is based on loading only material information to our children. We cannot build ourselves a much better civilization by simply following the prevailing intellectual understanding and the actual order in the world. Education is our bleeding wound.”
“WE WILL NOT BE IMITATOR”
Drawing attention to the importance of the education system for Turkey, Mustafa İriş said, “As a nation, we have a vast history and a magnificent civilization. For this, we must teach our children, young people, history and values of civilization. This should be the main aim of our education system. Our education system is successful to the extent that it is compatible with our civilization values that we are trying to rank. Short and clear. We will not be imitators. We will look like ourselves, not others. We will be ourselves. In fashionable words, we will repair the destruction of cultural imperialism.”
“I BELIEVE WE WILL SUCCESS THE MİLLİ GÖRÜŞ CASE”
Speaking at the meeting, Saadet Party Edirne Provincial President Atty. Sinan Tekin, on the other hand, pointed to the power of the Milli Görüş organizations and said, “Each member of our organization; are epic examples of sacrifice, perseverance, and struggle. They are branches of the great plane tree. They are the representatives of this plane tree, whose roots grow in the past and branches grow into future. Now, we take our basmala, roll up our sleeves, and set off. We have a lot of work to do. We have a great responsibility on our shoulders. We are aware of this responsibility. Our teacher, Erbakan, who started this movement, was deprived of politics many times, but each time he started again and got up from where he fell and continued running. I believe, we, with the inspiration we got from him, will succeed in the Milli Gorus cause.”
