The United States began to shape Turkey and Middle East policies with the new President Joe Biden. In the messages given about Saudi Arabia, the opposition of Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman, who is thought to be responsible for the murder of Jamal Khashoggi, stands out. Accordingly, White House Press Spokesperson Jen Psaki said that relations with Saudi Arabia will be "reconsidered". During the time of former President Donald Trump, relations between the United States and Saudi Arabia were carried out through bilateral relations, as with Turkey. The personal closeness between Jared Kushner, who was Trump's son-in-law and also his adviser, and Crown Prince Salman had put fundamental issues to the fore. In fact, the Trump administration was shielded from the pressure of the international community regarding the Khashoggi murder. However, now the US State Department has announced that relations with Saudi Arabia will be developed on the basis of “rule of law and respect for human rights”. In addition, the US administration made an unexpected statement regarding the ongoing war in Yemen. "Diplomacy will be at the center again, the United States will not support operations in Yemen," Biden said. In addition, another statement about Yemen came from Foreign Minister AntonyBlinken. Blinken announced that he removed the definition of "Global Terrorist Organization" regarding the Houthis, one of the conflicting parties in Yemen, which was previously taken by the Presidential Decree. Considering the proximity of the Houthis with Iran and the allegations that Saudi Arabia and Iran have come face to face in Yemen, this decision of the USA can be considered to be related to the "Nuclear Deal", which is likely to be returned with Iran. However, Iran's Foreign Minister Javad Zarif said about the nuclear deal, "If the sanctions are lifted and the US changes its attitude, then we can start negotiations. Iran's financial assets were blocked in South Korea and Japan due to the US policy. This approach should change."

On the other hand, the Biden administration takes steps to show that it is more permanent in Syria in every statement. Here, too, his target is actually Turkey. While showing the S-400s as the main problem between the two countries, it actually realizes the plans it designed for the region. As if the S-400s are no longer a problem, it gives an air of stepping back in other titles, but no, it will not do this, it uses, exploits. Because the last time he started to establish a base at the bottom of the Turkish border only 600 meters away does not mean anything other than officially provoking the processes in Syria.

As a result, it is seen that besides what Trump has done to the eye, there is a more systematic and institutional framework in Biden's footprints. Turkey must do the same and highlight its institutional mind in order to carry out these processes. Otherwise, it will be very difficult to overcome the problems. There is something we always express; loneliness is not something to be praised, especially in foreign policy. It is very clear that loneliness has unfortunately turned into an area that global powers can easily benefit from. Regardless, Turkey must manage this process by increasing the number of friends with "common interests".
