Felicity (Saadet) Party Deputy Chairman Mustafa Kaya made statements to press members in order to evaluate the developments in the world.

In the press release held in Istanbul, Kaya shared his opinions on many issues ranging from police violence against Turks living in Germany to developments in the election process in Montenegro.

Calling for power, Kaya said, "We continue to lose our position in foreign policy every day. Our vulnerabilities are increasing. Stop seeing foreign policy as a special area reserved for the AK Party. Go to the process of building a common mind in foreign policy."

Stating that they are worried about the disproportionate use of violence and provoking behavior by the police against the Turkish society in Germany, Kaya said, "After the national socialist underground murders, we see with regret that many officers and police in the German police and bureaucracy have a racist, xenophobic, violent and threatening attitude. The fact that such approaches tend to increase even more since 1993 does not escape the attention of us and the world public opinion. Statements made verbally or in writing that include or imply Islamophobia, initially in the media and later in the political establishment, unfortunately fuel this hostility. "The fact that the hate-laden words of politicians encourage them to attack Islam openly opens up a field of legitimacy and encourages these aggressors."

"THE ATTACKS MUST BE STOPPED IMMEDIATELY"

“Today it has become even clearer that the NSU case still has many question marks in the background,” said Mustafa Kaya.

"They are just approaches and practices that will ensure social peace in Germany or anywhere in the world. From here, I would like to call on those responsible, especially the German Chancellor Angela Merkel. We care about Mr. Chancellor's "acknowledgment of the existence of racism in Germany" and the statements "We must first sweep in front of our own home". We expect these statements to do what is necessary as soon as possible. These attacks must be stopped immediately. Necessary investigations should be opened against the relevant police officers and their superiors. Naturally, apologies should also be made from the Turkish society that has been victimized during these processes.”

"THE SIRP CHURCH HAS DETERMINED THE ELECTION"

Continuing his speech by evaluating the Montenegrin elections held last Sunday, Deputy Chairman Kaya said, "The elections in Montenegro actually resulted in a knife-edge situation. The Montenegrin parliament consists of 81 deputies. The bloc consisting of Montenegrins, along with the current ruling Bosniak, Croat and Albanian parties, received 40 of these seats. The alliance of the Serbian parties won 41 deputies. It was actually the Serbian Church that determined the elections. "The dominance of the Serbian Church in Montenegro is a known fact for all time."
