India has been experiencing significant difficulties in recent years. In the country where Hindu nationalism is on the rise, Muslims, who make up 15 percent of the population, that is, 180 million people, are having a hard time. The state of Karnataka currently has a meaningless ban on headscarves. The matter was taken to the Supreme Court. The court also ruled that the ban will continue until the decision-making process is completed. Protests against the ban still continue. Objections began to rise not only in India, but also in Pakistan and some other countries.

Hindu nationalists, who try to prevent girls from entering the schools by ambushing in front of the schools, continue to work with all their might to fuel the segregation. It is actually a racist organization called Hindutva that escalates these events. This organization forms the main backbone of Indian nationalism. The current Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his party BJP also came to power by highlighting the discourses that Hindutva liked in the elections. Now they continue to give positive answers to their demands with the steps they have taken. So, what is the starting point of the latest developments?

The Modi government submitted a bill to the Indian Parliament at the beginning of 2020. This bill gave citizenship to all refugees from South East Asia, except Muslims. The law was directly in violation of the Indian constitution. Because he established a link between citizenship status and religious identity. The target was actually Muslims. In India, which is supposed to be a multicultural civilization where dozens of languages are spoken and people who believe in dozens of different religions live, targeting members of only one religion is both thought-provoking and worrying.

Like the ongoing standardization and Chineseization project in China, India is doing the worst harm to its own society and is acting with a discriminatory approach. Why is the ideology called Hindutva used only against Muslims? Of course, the message that they should take action against other different segments should not be deduced from this. So the only problem of this crippled ideology is with Muslims. Even a belief, such as Hinduism, that is thought to be passive and tolerant, can take a stand against Muslims when appropriate. The real problem is that the state ignores the violence and almost encourages the aggressors. The Muslims of India, the world's largest minority, are subjected to persecution, oppression and violence in front of the eyes of the modern world.

At this point, the Islamic world needs to take its heads in its hands and think. Even in the Western media, there are dozens of criticisms and comments, but the Turkish media does not even bring the issue to the agenda properly. The Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs says it's a "domestic matter", but universal human rights rules need to be reminded on legitimate grounds. It is not possible to understand what balances the institutions and organizations such as the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which are supposed to speak up or even give warnings, keep in mind with the silence they are in. There is an important problem, and it is not like it will be limited to India. It has the potential to disturb everyone as a new threat threatening the peace and tranquility of the Indian subcontinent.

The Indian government should not drown in the labyrinths of an organization's ideological obsessions. This process harms India in every way. India should do what is necessary for its multicultural structure, and stop making life difficult for Muslims, who are the essential elements of its society. India is an important country both in its region and in the world. As a requirement of common sense, he should immediately implement a language and practices that are reasonable and that preserve his inner peace. The negative consequences of hostilities may not be felt in today's turmoil, but they will have very negative effects on the construction of the future. India should put an end to wrong decisions and policies as soon as possible and take into account the rightful demands of its citizens, Muslims.
