The 27th of the Congress of Muslim Communities organized by the Center for Economic and Social Research (ESAM) was held in Istanbul on Sunday, 2-3 December. Continuing to make an organization more than a quarter of a century is a success that must be appreciated and appreciated. I had the opportunity to attend meetings in previous years. The most important criticism of such organizations is that they cannot take steps to get results. However, the meetings of ESAM are more than just speaking and there are meetings where more solutions are discussed. An effort is made to clearly identify the problems. That's what happened at the meeting.
The ongoing conflicts in Libya, Syria, Yemen, the civil wars and the unstable environment in Egypt, the Islamic geography where the Great Middle East Project continued to threaten were the main topics determining the content of this year's speech. The theme chosen for this year also proved this; "The New Era and the Islamic Union with their Transformation and Changes". In an environment where the most of the negative conditions of psychology was wrapped, to talk about change, to emphasize the transformation and to mark the new mark of this period was very important in terms of vision setting. So this theme has the right to reproach the people who attended the meeting, but gave a message saying that you have no right to surrender to the conditions you are in.
ESAM, founded in 1969 by Necmettin Erbakan, Turkey's first think tank and research center. Each week, they organize conferences under the name "Wednesday Talks" with the participation of experts. It is possible to see different political personalities there. As a requirement of this year's meeting, ESAM once again revealed that every workshop, each conference, congress of every Muslim Community Association and D-8's founding anniversary meeting, sometimes small and sometimes a big step in achieving its goals. continues to walk.
