Ankara Civil Society Platform (ASTP), together with more than 200 non-governmental organizations, will organize a march in front of Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli Mosque with the slogan "Let's Walk Together Against Perversion and Heresy" on Sunday, October 30.

“THEY ARE TRYING TO DESTROY AND ELIMINATE OUR FAMILY STRUCTURE”

Ankara Civil Society Platform Chairman Mustafa Kır spoke to our newspaper about the march to be organized. Stating that dozens of non-governmental organizations made requests to participate from the moment they decided to organize a march, Mustafa Kır stated that their goal is to protect families and children from the perversion spread through the gender-neutralization projects created by the Istanbul Convention. "This lobby is trying to force our children to change their gender by imposing inhuman lifestyles on our nation, and to destroy and eliminate our family structure," Kır said.

“THESE ARE FUNDED BY GLOBAL POWERS”

Kır continued his words by saying “These organizations are represented with 17 associations in Turkey. These associations are financed from outside. They are supported by giving 24 million dollars in 2022.” Kır stated that these structures threaten the family. Underlining that they will not try to target anyone, create hate speech, or interfere with someone's lifestyles with the march they will organize, Kır said, “We are trying to stop people who impose these perverted lifestyles on our family and children as a lifestyle and their defenders with our march. We are here to warn mothers, fathers and the government against sexual perversion and deviance.”

“LET THE LAWS THAT KEEP THE ISTANBUL CONVENTION ALIVE BE CANCELLED”

Stating that the Istanbul Convention was terminated, Mustafa Kır, arguing that this was not enough, said: “Instead of protecting the family that sustains the aforementioned contract, under the name of positive discrimination, before the law numbered 4682, which causes the destruction of homes and the formation of broken families, the law numbered 4688 is abolished, it is not possible to say that the decision of annulment of the Istanbul Convention has eliminated the problems without amending the New Penal Code No. 5237 of September 26, 2004, which decriminalizes adultery. Let's not forget that our families are the most important value that keeps our nation and state alive. That's why it's our survivability to protect our family and our generation. We invite all families with their children to walk to put an end to this immorality and to put an end to perversion.”
