Mustafa Kurdaş, Editor-in-Chief of the Milli Gazete, gave a seminar on “Media and Perception Management" at the Science Culture and Education Foundation (İKEV).
The Science Culture and Education Foundation (IKEV) organized a conference on "Media and Perception Management".
The guest of the program, which was held at Esenler İKEV, was Mustafa Kurdaş, Editor-in-Chief of the Milli Gazete.
Kurdaş told the participants how the perception operation was carried out through the media and pointed out how the events based on lies were correctly perceived in our brain.
Stating how students perceive media perception in the program, Kurdaş said, “The lies that are constantly being repeated are replacing the truth”.
“TITLES HEADLINES AND PHOTOS ARE ALWAYS SELECTED”
Speaking to university students at the conference, Mustafa Kurdaş said, “Perception managers create completely false goals through the media. Perception managers use the memorization method. In order not to make a correct reading, the memorization of the society becomes the material of perception managers in a very serious sense. Political views and beliefs have their own memorization. He becomes the target of the managers of perception that memorizes. Memoris return as a weapon to the owners of memorization and begin to be coded to be deceived. For this reason, memorization is a very dangerous situation and is the most commonly used area of perception managers. Mass media say something on a subject and give something different. Captions, headlines and photographs have always been selected. It was chosen by being disinformed and breaking the truth. Perception managers always break the truth. Perception managers play with people's perceptions by breaking the truth and prevent them from thinking about the whole truth that is shattered. The lies that are constantly repeated are replacing the truth.”
PERCEPTION MANAGERS NEVER ASK YOU QUESTIONS
"Remember, the habit is not something that belongs to you, it is something you are taught," said Kurdaş.
“Perception managers never ask you questions. For example, when we took a project to the late Erbakan Hodja, our teacher first looked at the conclusion of that project. He opened the last page, looked at what the concrete offer was. If our teacher gave approval to the last page, he would review the whole project. If necessary, he would negotiate with us for hours. But he would always ask us this question. And then? Are we doing this project for excitement? From this project, this nation, this ummah, this humanity would question what will win. He would ask, “Okay, guys, what if we do it later?. It is very important to ask sonra or later sonra. For example, let's give an example. Was Saddam Hussein cruel? Yeah, he killed 5,000 people, cruel. This cruel man had to go. Yes, I opened my own parenthesis (I wouldn't want it to go like this), so Saddam Hussein is gone. Let's ask. And then? Saddam, who killed 5 thousand people, we said cruel, sent. The successor America killed two million Muslims. Five hundred thousand of these were children, and we can't even call this America cruel. Did you see the perception? He does not make the Muslim say cruel, even against the infidel”, Kurdaş added.
