Bringing together various publications, publishers and readers, the "11th International Magazine Fair" continues at Sirkeci Train Station.

In the fair organized by the Association of Turkish Magazines, very valuable conferences are also held.

Mustafa Kurdaş, Editor-in-Chief of Milli Gazete, gave a conference on digital publishing at the Sirkeci Train Station the other day.

“THE MOST IMPORTANT AREA IS PRODUCTION”

Mustafa Kurdaş, Editor-in-Chief of Milli Gazete, in his speech at the 11th International Magazine Fair held at Sirkeci Train Station, "The most important field in the world of culture-art and literature is production. As long as we publish and produce, it means that we have done important work. There is a trend in digital broadcasting in the world today. We are drifting towards digital codes in the world of books, magazines and newspapers. We act with developing conditions, technology, new world order and new media," he said.

“IF YOU DON'T HAVE WORRIES, YOU CANNOT PUBLISH MAGAZINES SUCH YEARS”

Saying that there are three valuable magazines within the Milli Gazete, Kurdaş said, "Milli Çocuk Magazine, Fikri Magazine, Maaile Magazine… These three magazines have a very valuable place. Milli Çocuk Magazine started with childish pages in our newspaper to protect our children from subliminal messages from television, media and the internet. Then we turned it into a magazine and he was 13 years old. We said it wouldn't save us to publish 12 magazines a year and we started to publish it weekly. We continued on a weekly basis for a long time. It has also become a very valuable journal in terms of pedagogy. In world orders, systems operate through women. In Maaile, we tell that the rise of the nation is through women. We have a problem. We approach with the idea that we can raise the woman at home and gather the family together with the woman. Our intellectual journal is also 6 years old. It makes valuable publications in the field of youth. If you don't have worries, you can't publish a magazine all these years. We see these channels as schools at the same time. Milli Gazete has done this duty for a long time. It has been a school not only for newspapers but also for publishing houses. There is a nice and pleasant work. In this sense, I would like to thank our friends who contributed to our own magazines," he added.

“REACHING INFORMATION HAS BEEN EXTREMELY COMMON”

Evaluating the issue of paper publishing and digital publishing, "Duplicating was forbidden in the world for a while. Today, reproduction is free and access to information is quite common. You multiply information by publishing. So what are you duplicating? Truth or lie? This distinction is very important. We have easy access to information. We become the form of knowledge we reach. We often argue whether it is paper or digital, but what, how and where we tell is important. Shares on social media are made with a phenomenal structure, whatever people watch a lot. Is this correct? You look at the digital medium and you say, 'This is a free space'. But when you look at what is imposed there, you realize that you are not free. There are some things we need to do to change and improve the language of technology. This is another system. We need to see how permissible we are in this system. We must be obligatory in every field, but we must exist as a Muslim in the fields we are in. However, all such places can be ours," he said.
