The Istanbul rally of the Nation Alliance, which went down in history, was held yesterday at the Maltepe event area with a large participation.
Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş and Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu also spoke at the rally, where the leaders of the Nation Alliance as well as the presidential candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu addressed the people of Istanbul.
Turkiye's readiness for change was once again seen at the big Istanbul rally in Maltepe, where it was pointed out that the Nation Alliance will triumph in the Presidential and 28th Term Parliamentary Elections to be held on Sunday, May 14, 2023.
“OUR CASE IS YOUR CASE”
Addressing the participants at the rally, Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu stated that the country's problems will begin to be resolved next year.
"We have prepared the principles that will cure Turkiye's problems for the last year and a half. After May 15, we will start to practice the principles we have determined. Our aim is not to reach a certain position or a certain offıce. Our problem is to deal with your problem. We want you to get rid of the troubles you are dragged into as soon as possible. We see this as our duty," Karamollaoğlu addressed the crowd.
Reminding the purpose of the Nation Alliance, Karamollaoğlu said, "We came together as leaders of six different political parties. We discussed our issues together, established certain commissions and then declared how we would overcome the problems. We explained, we have nothing to hide. That's why, no matter who is the victim, even if they do not have the same feelings and thoughts as us, we will worry about everyone's problems. We see Turkiye as a whole."
“İSTANBUL FELL BUT EVERYTHING BECAME VERY GOOD”
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş listed the country's problems.
"The government does not want to talk about Turkey's problems. They want people to argue with a little nationalism sauce, a little conservatism sauce during the election period and not talk about anything else. In the Istanbul elections, they said, 'If Istanbul falls, Jerusalem falls, if Istanbul falls, Mecca falls, if Istanbul falls, great Israel will be established.' Istanbul fell, but everything turned out very well. Therefore, they do not want the truth to be spoken in this election. They slander many, but we do not listen," Yavaş said.
"THEY ARE NOT SAYING EVEN THE 'E' OF THE ECONOMY"
Ekrem İmamoğlu, Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, stated that Turkey is experiencing a historical May 6th.
"Today we are talking about the economy. But they can't say the 'e' of the economy. They are using their evil language to divide our nation to hide the biggest economic crisis in history. We will not allow this. They think that they will deceive this nation. These numbers do not eat you anymore. The people have woken up. We will send you home bye bye," İmamoğlu said.
"WE NEED TO BRING THE PEACE TO THIS COUNTRY"
Addressing the citizens at the Great Maltepe rally, Nation Alliance presidential candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu said, "Are you ready for change? Are you ready to bring democracy to Turkey? Are you ready to value your sweat? Are you ready to build a Turkiye where no child goes to bed hungry in this country? I also promise you; No child in this country will go to bed hungry. No poor family will be cut off in this country. We will make this country like paradise and we will live in peace together. I want you to make sure that; I will be the president of 85 million. We will work for 85 million without interfering with anyone's identity or lifestyle. I promise to serve 85 million people with rights, law and justice. We need to bring peace to this country."
“I PROMISE, I WILL BRING SPRING TO THIS COUNTRY”
Underlining the importance of the May 14 elections, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu said, "You will replace an authoritarian government with democratic means. There is no problem in Turkey that cannot be solved when we fight together. We set out together, we set out with a common mind, and we will not hand over the Republic of the State of Turkiye to one person. We will rule together and together. We will rule with morality, virtue, knowledge and experience. We will not discriminate in any way. I promise, I will bring spring to this country. You will see, I will bring peace to this country. We will embrace everyone, we will not victimize anyone. This brother of yours came to this square after the justice march. I said then too; religion of the state is justice. We have to defend justice everywhere and in every environment."
