The problem of the "homeless", which is the gift of capitalism to the world, is getting more serious every day with the deepening of social inequality.

The situation of the homeless people, whose number is increasing day by day in Turkey, has become a serious drama especially in Istanbul.

However, the Felicity (Saadet) Party Fatih Youth Branch, which has become famous for its efforts for the citizens living on the streets for 7 years, continues its activities with the ideal of "Livable Turkey, Livable World".

As Milli Gazete, we spent a night with the youth of the Fatih Saadet Party Presidency and examined the aid given to the homeless.

Social inequality, the ugliest face of the capitalist order, is increasing the number of homeless people in the world day by day.

The number of homeless people, which has become increasingly common in Western civilization, has exceeded the millions in some 'advanced' countries.

Increasing number of homeless people in Turkey, especially in Istanbul, has become a serious social drama.

However, National Vision (Milli Görüş) Youth, which continues to work with the ideal of "Livable Turkey, Livable World", does not leave the orphans living on the streets of Istanbul alone.

As Milli Gazete, we participated in the activities of the Saadet Party Fatih Youth Branch, which has been carrying out serious work for the homeless for 7 years.

We were guests of the homeless neighbors of Istanbul in the work we carried out a few days before the snowfall, which was effective again.

On Monday night, when the temperature dropped below 0, we made a contract with the Saadet Party Fatih Youth Branch President, Safa Ocak, to participate in the usual work for the homeless.

At 22:30 in the evening, we came together with 3 young people from the Saadet Party in the courtyard of Fatih Mosque. In this study, we were going to visit some homeless people in certain regions of Fatih one by one and make up for their deficiencies.

We started our work with the homeless people who made the courtyard of Fatih Mosque their home.

Knowing the nooks and crannies where the homeless took shelter, the young people, with blankets in their hands, began to go to the bedside of our orphaned neighbors who were getting ready to sleep.

These young people, who memorized the names of homeless people, whom most people could not approach out of fear, knew the situation of each one individually and acted accordingly.

WE HAVE BEEN FRIENDS OF THE HOMELESS ALL AROUND FATIH

We were continuing our search for homeless people in the streets.

Safa Ocak was at the wheel, and we were visiting the homeless with our two university students in the back seat.

When one of the homeless people, covered with blankets, saw these young people, he smiled and said, "Erbakan's children have come."

After those words and smiles, I understood better how these young brothers served with motivation throughout the night, despite the coldness that permeated their hearts.

While we were wandering the streets of Fatih, we stopped by a homeless brother from Turkmenistan.

He had a serious injury to his leg. He asked the young people for water, took his blanket, and I had a little chat with him.

This brother of ours, who stated that he has been living on the streets for 4-5 months, in his half-baked Turkish, "These young people told me what the consciousness of the Ummah is, with the blankets and aids they provided," he said.

“DIED 2 STREETS BEYOND THE HOSPITAL”

While visiting the last few homeless people, we visited a homeless person who made a bench under a tree his home. This homeless brother of ours, who tells about his meeting with the young people from the Saadet Party, "One day, while distributing aid, the Saadet Party youth asked me for my clothing measurements. I was very surprised and two days later they brought the clothes he wanted and gave them to me," he said.

I knew that, but it still sounded interesting when I heard it from a homeless person. When we get back in the car, I ask Safa Ocak about the interesting events she experienced during her 7 years of homeless work.

After thinking for a while, Safa Ocak started to speak with a sigh.

"In the past years, we were taking care of a sick homeless brother in Samatya. This brother of ours, whose illness was getting worse with each passing day, passed away 2 streets away from Samatya Training and Research Hospital, suffering from illness for months," Ocak said.
