High school students, who are the soldiers of the National Youth in Istanbul, held the 2022-2023 fall term morning prayer meeting at the Büyük Mecidiye Ortaköy Mosque under the chairmanship of the Anatolian Youth Association (AGD) Istanbul High Schools Commission. The prayer meeting, which is held twice a year and to which all high school students from across Istanbul are invited, attracted great attention from the youth. Anatolian Youth Association Istanbul Provincial President Mehmet Yaroğlu and different names from the provincial administration and district heads also participated in the program and met with the youth.
“NATIONAL YOUTH IS HERE, STANDING STILL”
After the prayer, the crowd of about 1,000 people crowded the courtyard of Büyük Mecidiye Ortaköy Mosque and recited the 162nd verse of En'am Surah en masse. Young people expressed their enthusiasm with banners such as "Time is in me and space is entrusted to me", "The Qur'an is our sunnah guide", "We are in the footsteps of our teacher", "Life is faith and jihad". Then, the slogan “National Youth is Here, Standing Upright” was resounded in the Bosphorus. The program ended after the participants were served soup and sandwiches.
