Within the scope of the "Nation's representatives meet with the nation" program, Saadet Party Bursa Deputy Mehmet Atmaca spoke in Edirne yesterday.

Atmaca, who held a press conference in the party building, criticized Turkey's attitude towards Israel's massacres in Palestine.

"THE MATERIALS TO BE USED IN WAR GONE FROM HERE"

While the massacre in Gaza, where more than 10 thousand people were martyred, continues, Atmaca criticized the merchant ships going from Turkey to Israel.

"Since the beginning of this brutality, nearly 400 ships have gone to Israel, and most of the products sent by these ships are materials to be used in war, chief among these are oil and iron and steel products. Chemical products come from there, cement, food, all kinds of products go there from our country," he said.

Noting that the AKP government verbally criticizes Israel in its speeches, Atmaca said, "There were no sanctions. We neither withdrew our ambassador nor sent our ambassadors. Our ambassador came for some security reasons. Unfortunately, this approach is parallel to the policies that the AKP has implemented so far, that is, we see that it does not oppose in action some of the situations that it opposes in words. The fact that some people claim that these practices are carried out in this way because of the economic difficulties we are in, actually indicates the failure of this government. You are the one who has been ruling this country for 22 years, and after 22 years, your economy has reached such a point that it prevents you from taking action against Israel's oppression. This is proof of what they have really done to the country."
