Statements made by the ruling wing about the economic crisis, which are irritating the citizens, are met with astonishment in the public. Evaluating the growth figures announced last Friday, Treasury and Finance Minister Nurettin Nebati's weekend party's evaluations in Kızılcahamam camp caused controversy. Nebati said, “We could have increased interest rates to lower the exchange rate. But then production would be adversely affected. We went to a crossroads. We chose to grow with inflation. Manufacturers and exporters profit from this system, except for the low-income earners.” Treasury and Finance Minister Nureddin Nebati, in his statement on his Twitter account yesterday, said, “The basis of our economic policies; To ensure investment, production, export and employment-oriented growth, to grow as we produce by encouraging high value-added production and to reflect the returns of growth to all segments of the society. We are working hard to protect the purchasing power of our citizens who has the low income level especially in the face of increasing inflation with the policies we implement. In the next period, we will increase social welfare by ensuring sustainable growth focused on investment, production, export and employment, and we will implement all measures to increase the income of our citizens with the awareness of how valuable labor and sweat are.”

SUCH EXPLANATIONS ARE MADE TO THE CLUB OF RICHES

Evaluating Minister Nebati's statement of "Companies and exporters win in the current system, except the low-income earners," Prof. Dr. Aziz Konukman said, “Let's divide the society into two. Capitalists on one side, people on the other. Nebati describes it very well, one side says it has won a lot, these are the minority. But the other side is the public, excluding profits... He makes such statements at his own party, which is the club of the riches. All those who applaud these statements have jobs in the private sector, they have wealth.”
