Necip Fazıl Kısakürek commemorated with prayers

The late Necip Fazıl Kısakürek, one of the former writers of the Milli Gazete, a master poet, thinker and litigator, was remembered with prayers on the 40th anniversary of his death.

Poet, writer and thinker Necip Fazıl Kısakürek, who is known as "The Master" in Turkish literature and has the title of "Sultan of Poets", left deep traces in Turkish intellectual life with his ideas and works.

On the death anniversary of the late Necip Fazıl, many commemoration programs were held this year, as every year.

Kısakürek, who passed away on May 25, 1983, is buried in Eyüpsultan Cemetery.
