All media outlets have been broadcasting live from the streets of Iran for days. The protest process, which started with the claim that the police beat a woman named Mahsa Amini on the grounds that she did not wear the headscarf properly, and then died while in custody in the police station, has confused the whole of Iran.
It is understood from the images and statements made by official sources that Amini suddenly fell ill and died in the environment she was in due to an illness she had experienced before.
Contrary to the protesters' claims, the authorities insist that they were not beaten at the police station.
As it can be understood from the screens, public vehicles are being destroyed and the posters of the leaders of the revolution are burned in the ongoing events across the country. The protests have gone beyond the borders of the country and have turned into an outrage in the world under the name of “stance against violence against women and freedom” and the protests have reached the point where they threaten the regime. The country is trying to be drawn to the brink of a major internal conflict.
Whatever the excuse, the events are a kind of orange revolution attempt. These initiatives are neither the first nor will they be the last. The orange revolution has continued as a constantly tried process in Iran. Women's sensitivity is a very high phenomenon in Iran. Iran is being attacked over a sensitive issue. From afar, although Iran is perceived as a place where women are oppressed, they are strongly represented in non-governmental organizations and in the public. For example, even the Iranian opposition leader, who is currently in America, is also a woman with a headscarf. In the past years, people took to the streets again under the pretext of protesting the price hikes, and the events stopped spontaneously after a while.
ORANGE COUP ATTEMPT
While keeping in mind that the justifications and basic hopes of the 1979 revolution in Iran are still valid, it is important for the reliability and continuity of the regime to be held accountable if, as mentioned, a negative experience has occurred during the detention process. It should be known that freedoms are essential as long as they do not cause sedition, do not interfere with the living space of others, violate or destroy values.
It is not easy to create a homogeneous social structure in Iran, where the religious and secular society is divided into two. With the image of the oppressive regime, the accusation of some states with expansionism, and the perception of others as a sharia, a mullah state - just like a clown - everyone is attacking. It is the principal duty of the managers to put an end to the negative events that develop without giving this opportunity. Instead of looking for the culprit, it is necessary to try to find a solution. It should be known that there is no solution with violence, but violence breeds violence.
The fact that those who remain silent about what is being done to the persecuted women all over the world lament this clearly shows what their intentions are. The fact that those who remain silent about the abuses and dramas experienced by women and young girls in Iraq, Palestine and many Muslim countries suddenly turn into women's rights defenders when it comes to Iran only shows their insincerity.
REASONS FOR WHAT HAPPENED IN IRAN
When the causes of the events in Iran are examined, it will be seen that the following factors are effective.
First; Iran signed the Shanghai membership last week. The Shanghai Five, which was created as an alternative to the unipolar world led by the United States, became even stronger. Thus, Iran has taken a firm step against foreign interventions that may come to it.
Latter; President İbrahim Reisi is seen as successful in the anti-corruption process he is carrying out on a large scale in the country. This situation has caused disturbances in circles that act against national interests inside and outside the country.
Third; Iran, which has been facing an American embargo since the revolution, has been fighting against America for 40 years as a strong and strong resistance country.
Fourth; It is understood that Iran did not step back in the nuclear talks, did not compromise on its stance, while the Westerners were uncomfortable with this, and as a result, they supported such popular uprisings and coup attempts.
Fifth and most importantly, Iran is the only country in the world that resists Zionism. It maintains its character as a country that openly supports the Palestinian struggle against Israel. He contributes to the resistance groups in Lebanon. For this reason, it can be seen as the resistance of the great fortress against Zionism.
As a result, it is the West's ploy to criticize Iran ruthlessly, even if it has faults. Today Iran is trying to be confused. As the late Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan Hodja, leader of the Milli Görüş, stated in his historical warning, the target after Syria is Iran and Turkey. We do not support the idea that what Iran is doing is right and that the oppressive environment should continue. However, I would like to repeat the statement inspired by a sentence that was engraved in our minds during the trip. "It's not about the headscarf, you still don't understand?" Attacks against Iran at every opportunity should be evaluated within this framework.
