The biggest evil that the 12 September 1980 coup did to our country was to reveal human prototypes that do not think, speak, produce, analyze and accept ideas as they are. In the period until the September 12, the concepts of rightist and leftist were obscured in our minds with the figures of Ecevit and Demirel.

In those days which in Turkey was turned into a fire place by foreign outbreaks, our rightist and leftist self-adhesive labeled youth were arguing, bickering but did not get a positive result from this bickering. Coming these events to an end with September 12 coup, it was revealed by whom the games played on our youth were organized and it was proof that the events were made to turn over those who were willing to play these games.

With the September 12 coup, Turkey went back at least 50 years. Economic indicators, politicial considerations, freedom of thought and opinion, freedom of the press in this period as the leaves were thrown to left and right. Turkey’s pass to find peace and democracy again took course over the years. By taking the laws that will protect them, the coup plotters one by one from their responsibilities in the transition period. In the context of media freedom in Turkey, which is one of the most important milestones of our lives to enter private television in the 1990s was the harbinger of a new era. One by one, private TVs have led our human prototypes to evolve into a whole new dimension without thinking, speaking, producing, analyzing and accepting ideas as they are.

Now a new generation of people who have acquired their life, identity, views and sit up through the media, have come out with their reflections from the world of heroes on TV. And unfortunately, this generation took its place in history as a lost generation… Because the magazine is crown, lust is put on the lead, morality and spirituality is pushed into the background of the series, productions and programs that filled our room of prostitution, the September 12 coup revealed a social fabric that is worse than the generation.

It is the dynamic morality, culture and social fabric that maintains a society… Morality and spirituality are the cement of a society. Mohammad (pbuh) says: “I was sent to complete the good moral”. Allah(c.c.), addressed to the Prophet: “You are on a beautiful morality” he commanded.

It is obvious that mass media should be public broadcasting. But nowadays, mass media, unconscionable news and comments are aimed at people’s honor and dignity and the minds are being tried to be introduced to various kinds of prostitution. Gossip, lies, slander, ugly words, interest and curiosity can be presented in a way.

Worst of all, the mass media where the evils are internalized increase the jealousy of people against each other, their lives fed with magazine cover can encourage people against the life of mushroom types.

Unfortunately, finding an accurate production on the TV screens is harder to find than an oasis in the desert.
