It has been a while since different symbols have been introduced as programs begin to show what is waiting for the audience on the screens and the contents of the television broadcasts. People over the age of 7 can watch, as they contain fear and violence 'We didn't understand what these symbols were for'. Because symbols are placed, but since the contents are not controlled, especially in the series of violent scenes in the eyes of our people was not abandoned. For example, the Valley of the Wolves, which has been circulating on television for years, was recorded as the highest series of violence on the screens.

The supreme board of radio and television (RTÜK), who is responsible for the broadcasting of televisions and has to protect our people against everything that happens on the screens; For years, especially on the screen of television series violent content did not do anything, could not. The mafia types who made their own rules continued to come to the screen as if they were very humane. This type of series is still running. For example, the 'Çukur' serie on Show TV screens is one of them. In other television channels, the protagonists, who cut their eyes and do their work with violence and rage, are still coming to the screen in prime time generations.

Can't such programs and series be removed from television screens? Or unchecked?

RTÜK, which once derived mushroom-like programs, was removed from the screens. Can't the RTÜK intervene at least in such scenes with violent scenes?

Since such series have a lot of customers on the screens, the television channels said, "We pay the penalty, we take care of ourselves. We continue to broadcast these series" they prefer to continue their way with their mentality.

Recently, RTÜK member İlhan Taşçı, in his share on Twitter, said that RTÜK had made more than 16 thousand complaints in the last eight months due to violent images on television, but the Supreme Council did not even consider one of them.

Due to the violent broadcasts on the screen, 16 thousand 514 complaints were received from the audience at RTÜK in 8 months, but not even one was brought to the agenda of the Supreme Council. Taşcı says that not only condemning violence and violence against women is enough, but that every institution should do its part with sincerity.

Taşçı, RTÜK Communications Center since January 2019 in the audience complaints about violence on television since the first place 13 thousand 425 notifications of "violence inciting or provocative publications" expresses that the violence has become applied on the screen and emphasized that it has been taught. Series film content constitutes 90 percent of the complaints made by the audience on the screen about violence. 44.6 percent of those who are annoyed by the violence in television broadcasts are males and 55.4 percent are females.

Of course, unless the RTÜK ignores the violence on the screens and the complaints about it, the dose of the violence on the screen is gradually increasing. And with the fact that they are unchecked, screenwriters, producers and publishers increase the dose of violence for the sake of rating.

Ignoring the violence on the screen means ignoring the RTÜK itself and its mission. As long as the series continues to be legitimized, the heroes who cut their eyes and put their own rules with the weapon in their hands and the waist, and those who try to get a place in the society with violence and rage, it does not seem possible to get rid of this spiral of violence on the screens.
