It is said that Erdogan will form the new cabinet mainly from bureaucracy and politicians. It is stated that the disagreements between Mehmet Şimşek and Erdoğan about the model and method have come to an end. It is also stated that the Secretary General of the National Security Council, Seyfullah Hacımüftüoğlu, will also take part in the cabinet.

After the presidential and parliamentary elections were completed, it was turned into a new cabinet.

Following the swearing-in ceremony of deputies in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) on Friday, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who was re-elected as President, is scheduled to take his oath on Saturday.

Erdogan is expected to announce the cabinet the same day after the swearing-in ceremony. While a serious revision is foreseen in the cabinet, it is also said that the economy management may change from the beginning.

FOUR MINISTERS ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE

President Erdogan is said to be considering a different model from the current cabinet in 2018.

Erdogan, who formed the current cabinet from business people in 2018, is expected to include bureaucracy and politicians in the new cabinet.

It is also stated that Süleyman Soylu, Hulusi Akar and Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, who are in the current cabinet, will be in the cabinet again.

In the backstage of the AK Party, it is spoken that the Minister of Environment and Urbanization, Murat Kurum, will continue his duty due to the works in the earthquake zone.

It is stated that Erdogan will also include the Secretary General of the National Security Council (NSC), Seyfullah Hacımüftüoğlu, in the cabinet.

It is rumored that Yavuz Ağıralioğlu and Bülent Turan will also take part in the cabinet as surprise names.

THE ECONOMY MANAGEMENT TO BE CHANGED AGAIN

All eyes in the cabinet turned to the economy management. In the last meeting between Mehmet Şimşek and Erdoğan, it is stated that “a decision was made to work together”.

While Erdogan does not want a sharp turn on current economic policies, there is a disagreement between Şimşek and Erdoğan over the model and method.

In economic management, the division of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance into two separate ministries is also on the agenda.

It is stated that the names of Lütfi Elvan and Mustafa Elitaş can be included in the economic management.

The current Treasury Minister, Nureddin Nebati, is expected to be the Chairman of the Planning and Budget Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.
