Turkish State Railways (TCDD) introduced Friday connections to Belgrade and Bucharest on the Istanbul-Sofia Express which was launched on Feb. 20.
According to the announcement on the TCDD website, the express train between Istanbul and the Bulgarian capital Sofia started making stops in the Romanian capital Bucharest on Friday.
The connection to the Serbian capital Belgrade will be guaranteed starting Saturday.
The Belgrade connection will be available until Sept. 15 while the Bucharest connection will last until Oct. 2.
The Istanbul-Sofia Express is a high-tech four-car express with in-bed and curved wagons.
