Regulations containing significant changes are expected to be submitted to the Turkish Grand National Assembly in a short time. With the draft, the mother will be given the opportunity to file a lawsuit to reject the lineage between the father and the child.
The names of the adopters can be written as the names of the mother and father on the ID card of the adopted child.
Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç, regarding the issue, "The draft package in question consists of more than 60 articles. There is a great public expectation, especially in terms of making regulations that will eliminate the perception of impunity. We need to meet this expectation. In other words, those who commit crimes should not get away with it. The convict will be allowed to spend one-fifth of his conditional release period in supervised release. The goal is to eliminate the perception of impunity," he said.

In his social media statement, Yılmaz Tunç emphasized that the work on the judicial package is at the draft stage.
"When completed, it will be presented to the discretion of our MPs and will take its final form after the work of our Parliamentary group. It will be shared with the public by our MPs who will propose the law," Tunç added.
