With the written statement made by the Ministry of National Education, it was announced that the exam fee will not be charged to the candidates who will take the exam.
Educators Union (Eğitim-Bir-Sen) applied to the ministry last month and demanded that the promotion exam is not an option, but a necessity, and that the candidates who will take the exam should not be charged an application fee. The Ministry announced that the application fee will not be charged after the request.
“WE WILL NOT CHARGE AN EXAM FEE FROM OUR FRIENDS”
In a written statement made by the Ministry of National Education, Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin stated that they have taken a new decision on the subject.
"According to the guide, candidates who will take the exam were required to pay their exam fees from today until June 16. However, we made a decision; We will not take exam fees from our friends who will take the promotion exam for branch manager, chief, officer and accountant. I wish good luck to those who will take the exam," Tekin said.
PROMOTION EXAM IS ON JULY 9
The application and approval process for the quota of 400 for the branch manager, 2,000 for the chief, 3,000 for the civil servant and 57 for the accountant staff, within the scope of promotion and title change by the Ministry of National Education, was completed between 9 May and 7 June.
The promotion exam will be announced on 9 July, and the exam results will be announced on 4 August.
THE UNION REQUESTS TO REMOVE FEE IN ALL EXAMS
The union applied to the ministry and demanded that the exam not be a choice but a necessity in terms of positions to be appointed by promotion, and demanded not to be charged an application fee in the promotion exam on the grounds that almost all exams are not required for entrance to the profession, especially for career assistantship.
