In the meeting, which was held with high participation, Felicity (Saadet) Party leader Temel Karamollaoğlu discussed climate change, natural disasters and the upcoming election period, especially the vaccine issue. While the vice presidents made presentations on their fields of work, suggestions regarding the studies mentioned in the presentations were also evaluated.

Saadet Party General Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu, who spoke after the presentations of the vice-presidents at the meeting held at the Saadet Party Headquarters, noted that there is no need to force the vaccine, underlining that some segments have gone too far in the opposition to vaccination, making it a matter of faith.

"Almost 70% of the population has been vaccinated. We think it is not right to force it here. Similar problems have been experienced in previous outbreaks. The issue that we had to focus on here was to think about what we should do as Turkey," he said.

"WE SHOULD CARE ABOUT OUR OWN WORK"

Underlining that Turkey should give more importance to studies on behalf of science during the pandemic period, Karamollaoğlu said, "We had to do our own research. Why do we only hear the name of Kayseri University? We, as the state, should pay more attention to this issue. We had a vaccination center, it was closed and all its supplies were sold for tribute. Until 15-20 years ago, we were one of the rare countries that produced vaccines. There is no trust in the World Health Organization. Human health is an issue that the state should care about, but another issue is that this issue should not be made hostile and marginalizing."

“WE SHOULD REACH EVERYONE AND TELL OUR CONCERNS”

Stating that the election period is approaching, Karamollaoğlu noted that Saadet Party organizations should start their work for an election that will take place in the near future.

"I think we have entered the election zone. 20 months until the regular election. And if we consider the possibility of the election being brought forward. We will work as if there is only one year left before the election. We have to reach every segment of the society and tell our problems," he added.
